Clear Water, Florida - The Securities and Exchange Commission’s recent crackdown on the cryptocurrency sector has served as a stark warning to many in the industry. Following the collapse of FTX, the one-time darling of the cryptocurrency market, the SEC has taken it upon itself to reign in the nascent industry.

Amidst the recent regulatory crackdown the team behind HEX announced a landmark change: the HEX cryptocurrency project is in fact a religion and not a security. In a statement released on the Twitter page of the HEX Foundation, it announced its name change to “The Church of Hextology.”

"So much of the HEX community has centered around a belief in the infallibility of our immortal leader, Richard Heart” Honbard Ellroy of the Florida Chapter of the Church of Hextology noted before continuing “Hextology offers its followers a belief system centered around a mythical force known as the PulseChain that only exists in the heart of true believers.”

“Engineering delays, ponzi, etc, these are the terms of non-believers” Honard Ellroy stated in an interview with the Daily Sybil, “I Am One With The PulseChain, And The PulseChain Is With Me.”

In the week prior to this announcement, Mr. Heart released Hexinetics: The Modern Science of Financial Health, which identifies the main source of human problems being not owning “the world’s largest diamond, quickest Ferrari or most expensive rolex.” Hexinetics outlines the core tenants of the new faith, Hextology.
