New Mobile Game ‘Do Kwon GO’ Takes Serbia by Storm

BELGRADE - A new mobile game launched in Serbia has taken the Balkan nation by storm. ‘Do Kwon GO’ is a new collaboration between The Niantic Labs and the South Korean Ministry of Justice. The mobile application aims to gamify the capture of the infamous founder of the collapsed cryptocurrency project , Terra, and his key lieutenants.

In September 2022, Korean authorities issued an arrest warrant for Do Kwon on charges of breaching the Capital Markets Act (CMA), however, he has thus far eluded capture by Korean authorities who have looked to more creative ways to bring Do Kwon to justice.

What happens when "Gotta catch 'em all" meets justice? You end up with Do Kwon GO. The South Korean Ministry of Justice has inputted known intelligence on Do Kwon and other key members of the Terra Luna project into the augmented reality application, which can be used as bread crumbs to track down these high value targets around the globe.

Once you've tracked down one of their locations and spotted the augmented reality fraudster using your phone, you've got to capture them with a subpoena ball. These (and other items) can be obtained from PonziStops - where bounty hunters are waiting to capture fraudsters who have been tagged nearby with the augmented reality subpoena balls.

The more you capture former members of the Terraform Labs team and tag them with subpoena balls, the higher your detective rank climbs. Leveling up gives you the ability to access a wider range of helpful items - including even cash prizes and a get out of jail free card if you catch Do Kwon or other top members of his team.

With nearly 50,000 downloads in its first 24 hours in Serbia alone, Do Kwon GO seems to be on its way to becoming the most popular mobile game in 2023.
